Meeting Times: Thursday 2:45 – 3:45 p.m. Classes will begin after marching season is over in October.

Goal or Objective for Activity or Sport: Students in Jazz Band will perform jazz arrangements in a variety of contemporary music styles ranging from rock, Latin and pop songs as well as learning how to improvise melodies over the chord changes for these compositions.

Try-outs or Sign-up: The students need to be presently enrolled in the band class at Brooks and try-out for Jazz Band before becoming a member.

What do students need to participate: Students must supply their own instruments.
