Bilingual Education

The Director of Bilingual/ESL Education provides leadership in the coordination, planning, and evaluation of all phases of the District's Bilingual Education Programs. Some specific projects include: State grants and funding sources for TBE, TPI, Title III/NCLB LipLep, and IEP; teacher recruitment; curriculum and instruction adaptations; professional development; parent education/involvement; and State and local language assessment for the identification and placement of English language learners.
