Print Shop Department

The print shop is a complete printing facility that includes full service printing as well as a quick copy operation. Full service printing offers typesetting, color presswork, and complete bindery. An example of this service is the Parent/Student Handbooks. Our quick copy operation handles large volumes of materials that are reproduced on several high volume copiers. This operation runs seven days a week. Variable Data printing such as middle and high school report cards is also available.

During a typical year the printing operation will run over 70,000 jobs, that total 45,000,000 copies, or half a million pounds of paper. Throughout the year the print shop will run 2,000,000 envelopes, and 3,000,000 sheets of carbonless paper. During an average day, when students are in session, the print shop will run 350 jobs and use 5,000 staples.
