Valley View 365U Is Now On Facebook

Valley View School District 365U is broadening its vast array of communications methods to include Facebook.

"Our Facebook postings won't be as frequent or detailed as our district website postings but they will include information on significant school and district-wide activities on a regular basis," said Larry Randa, VVSD's Director of Community Relations.

How to Subscribe to VVSD365U's Facebook

  1. Go to facebook.com/VVSD365U
  2. Click the Subscribe button near the top right of the page.

Fine-tune VVSD365U's News Feed

After you have subscribed to our page click on the Subscribed button to choose what you see from our News Feed.

Select All Updates so you don't miss any VVSD365U stories.

Add Subscription to your Favorites List

Optional way for you to organize on Facebook so you can filter the stories you see in News Feed.

  1. Go to facebook.com/bookmarks/lists.
  2. Click the Pencil icon to the left of the subscriptions list.
  3. Click the Add to Favorites link.

By default the Subscriptions list is hidden. Following the steps above you can easily filter out all subscriptions from your friends and family.

Subscriber Privacy Settings?

What can I see on a subscriber?

Subscribing is not the same as Friending someone. When you subscribe to someone, you'll only be able to see their public updates.

What about my profile?

This all depends on your individual accounts Privacy Settings.

A subscriber is not granted any specific rights on Facebook and is considered in the same category as the Public. If you have you Privacy Settings set up to deny access from the public then a subscriber will not see any posts, personal info, photos, or etc.

If you have any concerns go to your Account Privacy Settings and verify the Public rights on your profile
