The Book Fair made over $3000 in new books for the library. Watch for them appearing on the counters. Thank you to all the students and staff and a special thank you to the following businesses who contributed money for new dictionaries. From their generous contributions, we were able to purchase 110 new dictionaries.

Starting in November, students who read to younger siblings, neighbors, cousins, etc. fill out a sheet and return it to their language arts teachers. They receive gold medals and the sheets put them into a drawing to win a free children’s book for the home.

This is part of Humphrey’s Literacy Initiative. Please encourage reading to siblings at home.
