Driving Directions

Reminder: In case of baseball and softball, these directions are to the school not always to the actual field. Check with coaches to get accurate directions to playing fields.

A. Vito Martinez Middle School: Route 53 south until you get to 135th Street (Romeo Road). Turn right on 135th Street (Romeo Road). Go to the stop sign. The school is on the right side of the street. The phone number is 815/886-6100.

B.J. Ward Middle School: Pinecrest to Briarcliff. Turn right on Briarcliff to Recreation Drive. Turn left on Recreation Drive to the school. The school is on the left side. The phone number is 630/972-9200

Channahon Junior High School: I-55 south to Route 6 (Morris/Joliet exit). Go west (right) on Route 6 to to Reed Street. Turn right on Reed Street. Stay on Reed Street until you get to a "T" in the road. This will be Tryon Street. Turn right on Tryon Street. This road will curve and eventually turn into Minooka Road. The school is on the left side of Minooka Road. The phone number is 815/467-4313.

Dirksen Junior High School: I-55 south to I-80 east. Stay on 80 east until Larkin north exit. Take Larkin Street north until Jefferson Street. Turn right on Jefferson Street. Take Jefferson Street to Midland Street. Turn right on Midland Street. Dirksen is on Midland Street. The phone number is 815/729-1566.

Eisenhower Junior High School: Route 53 to 75th Street. Turn east (right) on 75th Street. Go to Adams Street. Turn left at light and then make an immediate left. School is on the left. The phone number is 630/964-5200.

Glenside Middle School: 355 North to North Avenue (Rt. 64). Go west (left) on North Avenue to Bloomingdale Road. Go north (right) on Bloomingdale Road to Fullerton. Turn left on Fullerton. School is 1/2 block down Fullerton. School is located on the left side of the street. The phone number is 630/260-6112.

Gompers Junior High School: I-55 south to I-80 east. Go to Briggs Street ext. At the light, turn left and continue going north on Briggs Street. Go past two stoplights and continue to the top of the hill. The school is at the corner of Briggs and Copperfield. The phone number is 815/727-5276.

Take Rt. 53 to Rt. 7. Turn left and go over the bridge into Lockport. Turn right at the light at the bottom of the bridge. This is State Street. Stay on State Street until you get to Division Street. Turn left on Division and start up the hill to Briggs Street. Turn right on Briggs. Continue on Briggs. The school will be on the right hand side.

Hadley Junior High School: 355 north to Roosevelt Road. Turn left on Roosevelt and go to President Street. Turn right on President Street and go to Hawthorne Street. Turn right on Hawthorne Street and the school is on Hawthorne on the right hand side. The phone number is 630/790-6450. Girls' softball: 355 north to North Avenue (Rt. 64). Turn left on North Avenue and go to Swift Road. Turn left on Swift Road and go to St. Charles Road. Turn right on St. Charles Road and go to Ackerman Park.

Heritage Grove Junior High: I-55 south to Rt. 126. Go on 126 and continue to Rt. 59. Go north on Rt. 59 to 127th Street. Turn left on 127th Street and go to the first crossroad. The first crossroad is Van Dyke Road and turn right and the school is right there. The phone number is 815/439-4910.

Homer Junior High School: Take Boughton Road to Lemont Road. Go right on Lemont Road. Stay on Lemont Road all the way through Lemont. When you get to the stop light at Lemont Road and Rt.171, go straight through the light. At the next light, turn left. This is 143rd Street. Stay on 143rd Street until you get to Bell Road. Turn right on Bell Road. Stay on Bell Road and the school is on the left. The phone number is 708/301-5500. Boys' Baseball: Lemont Road south to 143rd Street. Turn left on 143rd Street to Creme Road (marked by street sign only). Turn right on Creme Road to 151st Street. Turn left on 151st and proceed to Homer Highway Depart. Fields are located behind Homer Highway Depart.

Hufford Junior High School: Take Weber Road south. Weber Road will change into Larkin Avenue towards Joliet. Stay on Larkin Avenue and the school will be on the right side. The phone number is 815/725-3540.

Indian Trail Junior High School: Take I-55 south to Rt. 126 (Plainfield exit). Stay on Rt. 126 until you come to Eastern Avenue. Turn left on Eastern Avenue. The school is on the left side. If you come to the railroad track, you have gone too far. The phone number is 815/436-6128.

Jane Addams Middle School: Take Rt. 53 to Lily Cache Lane. Turn right on Lily Cache Lane and stay on it to the school. The school is on the left side of the street. The phone number is 630/759-7200.

Kankakee High School: Go east to 57 south. Go west on Rt. 17. Go through Kankakee and turn left on Curtis. At the "T", the school is on the left side. The phone number is 815/933-0740.

Kankakee Junior High School: Take I-55 south to Rt. 17. Exit Rt. 17 and go east. Stay on Rt. 17 until you get to Court Street. Turn left on Court Street and go under I-57. Continue to Crestwood and turn right. The school is on Crestwood. The phone number is 815/933-0730.

Kelvin Grove Junior High School: Take Rt. 53 south to Rt. 7. Turn left on Rt. 7 and go over the bridge into Lockport. Stay on Rt. 7 until you get to 8th Street. Turn right on 8th Street. The school is two blocks down on the right side of the street. The phone number is 815/838-0737.

Lemont High School: Take Lemont Road into Lemont. Go to Illinois Street (at the bottom of the bridge) and turn left. Continue on Illinois Street four blocks to Julia Street. Turn right on Julia Street and the parking lot will be on the west side of the street. The phone number is 630/257-5838.

Lisle Junior High School: Take Rt. 53 north until you get to Maple Street. Turn right on Maple Street and go to Kingston. Turn left on Kingston and go to the school. The phone number is 630/971-4350.

Martino Junior High School: Take Rt. 53 south to Rt. 7. Turn left on Rt. 7 and go over the bridge into Lockport. The first stoplight is State Street. Turn right on State Street and go to Division Street. Turn left on Division Street and go to Cedar Road. Turn right on Cedar Road and continue to Rt. 30. Go east on Rt. 30 to Spencer Road. Turn right on Spencer Road and go to Joliet Highway. Turn right on Joliet Highway. The school is on the right. The phone number is 815/485-7593.

Minooka Junior High School: Take I-55 south to I-80 west. Go to the Minooka Exit. Turn left Ridge Road. You will go over and under railroad tracks. Stay on this road. The school is on the left side at the corner of Ridge and McEvilly. The phone number is 815/467-2136.

Old Quarry School: Take Lemont Road to 127th Street. Turn right on 127th (stoplight). The school is on the left hand side. The phone number is 630/257-2286.

Plainfield High School: Take I-55 south to Rt. 126. Go to Rt. 59 and go north on Rt. 59. Stay on Rt. 59 until you get to Fort Beggs (you can only turn right on Fort Beggs). Turn right and continue 3-4 blocks to the school. The phone number is (815) 436-3200.

Roosevelt Junior High School: Take I-55 north to 294 north. Take 294 north to Roosevelt Road. Exit Roosevelt Road going east. Continue on Roosevelt to 25th Street. Turn left on 25th Street and go over the Eisenhower Expressway, past Madison and Washington. The school is at the corner of 25th and Oak. The phone number is 708/544-3318.

Seneca Grade School: Take I-55 south to I-80 west. Go to the Seneca exit (the exit after the Morris exit) and turn left. About 500 yards, there will be a four-way stop. Continue through the stop and the road will turn into Rt. 6. Go about 3-4 miles into town to Rt. 170. Turn left on Rt. 170 and go to the school which is at the end of town. Shabbona Middle School: Take I-55 south to I-80 west. Go to the Morris exit (Rt. 47). Turn left on Rt. 47 and go to Bedford Rd. (Rt. 6) Turn right on Bedford Road and go to Union Street and go to School Street. Turn right on School Street and go to the school. The phone number is 815/942-3605.

St. Raymond's Catholic School: Take Rt. 53 south to Theodore Street in Crest Hill. turn right on Theodore Street and go to Raynor. Turn left on Raynor and go through "six corners" intersection. St. Ray's is a couple blocks down on the left side. The phone number is 815/722-6626.

Summit Hill Middle School: Take I-55 south to I-80 east. Go to La Grange Road and exit going south. Go south on LaGrange Road to St. Francis Road. Turn left on St. Francis Road and go to Pinehill. Turn left on Pine hill and continue to Wintergreen and go to the dead end. Turn right at the dead end, which is Rosewood, and the school is on the left. The phone number is 815/469-4330.

Taft School: Take Rt. 53 to Rt. 7. Turn left and go over the bridge into Lockport. Turn right at the light at the bottom of the bridge. This is State Street. Stay on State Street until you get to Division Street. Turn left on Division and start up the hill to Washington Street. Turn right on Washington and continue to school. Thayer Hill Middle School: Take Boughton west on Naperville/Plainfield Road. Turn right and go to 95th Street. Turn left on 95th and go to Rt. 59. Turn right on Rt. 59 and continue to Brookdale Road (stoplight). Turn right on Brookdale and follow it around to the first stop sign. The school is on the right. The phone number is 630/428-6200.

Thurgood Marshall Junior High School: Take 294 north to Roosevelt Road and exit east (turn right). Go to 25th Avenue and turn left. Go to Oak Street and turn left. The school is on Oak Street. The phone number is 708/544-6995.

Timber Ridge Junior High School: Take I-55 south to Rt. 30. Turn left on Rt. 30 to Caton Farm Road. Turn right on Caton Farm Road and go to Bronk Road. Turn left on to Bronk Road and continue to the school. The phone number is 815/439-3410.

Troy Junior High School: Take I-55 south to Rt. 52 exit (Jefferson St.) Turn right on Rt. 52 heading into Shorewood. Go to Rt. 59 and turn right. Stay on Rt. 59 until you get to Black Road. Turn right on Black Road and continue to school. The phone number is 815/725-6210.

Washington Junior High School: Take I-55 to I-80 east. Go east to Richards Street. Turn left on Richards Street and continue to the school. It is on the corner to 4th and Richards. The phone number is 815/727-5271.

West View Hills Middle School: Take Boughton Road to Lemont Road. Go left on Lemont Road to 63rd Street. Lemont Road will turn into Main Street. Turn right on 63rd and go to Cass Avenue. Turn right on Cass Avenue and go to 65th Street. At 65th Street, turn left. The school will be on the north side of 65th Street. The phone number is 630/963-1450
