Mathematics:
Add/subtract 2 and 3 digits with/without regrouping

Measure with rulers, scales, cups
Tell time using an analog clock to the minute
Count, compare, & order sets of unlike coins
Extend numeric patterns involving + and -
Solve word problems
Identify objects that are the same shape and size
Compare/contrast 2 and 3 dimensional shapes and objects
Organize and interpret pictographs, tables, bar graphs
Identify and discuss likely, unlikely, and impossible probability events
Science/Health:
Understand essential elements of the earth
Sort rocks, soil, and minerals by simple attributes
Identify water sources/uses
Describe land features
Know the natural changes of the earth, erosion, and weathering
Understand the water cycle
Identify natural resources
Identify recycling products
Understand seasonal cycles
Understand cause/effect of forces, push/pull magnets, and
natural/man-made forces
