Reading
§ Identify Letters: Meets goal is 40-44 letters
o NOTE: Letters are presented randomly
§ Identify Sounds: Meets goal is 11-12 sounds
§ Telling a story with beginning, middle, and ending
§ Sight word identification: Meets goal is 10-13 words
We work on sight word identification DAILY!
Math
§ Shape identification: circle, square, triangle, rectangle
§ Positional/Comparative words: above below like different
§ Attributes/sorting: by color and shape
§ Patterns: Identify, create, extend AB patterns (child must be able to
do all three of these skills for the pattern to receive an M)
§ Orally counting to 20
§ Touch counting objects to 10
§ Identify numbers to 0-10 in random order
§ Write numbers 0-10 IN ORDER
§ Match sets of objects to correct number for 0-10
We continue work on:
§ Sight words DAILY
§ Rhyming words and Phonemic Awareness
§ Writing sentences
§ Sounding out words
§ Counting above 20
§ Identifying numbers to 20 and above
§ ABB, AAB patterns
