Hello! I am Kristen Jones and I am thrilled to welcome you to Language Arts. This year we will be tackling various novel studies, writing of various forms, as well as enhancing our listening and speaking skills. Everything that we do will be done to help our students flourish as proficient readers and writers.

I believe that all students can learn when they have the will to want to learn, the educator has the desire to teach, and the classroom environment is conducive to the needs of the students.

~Graduated in 2004 from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.

~Have been taking classes through Joliet Junior College, Aurora University, and Northern Illinois University to obtain graduate credit towards a master degree.

~This is my fourth year teaching.
