Welcome to First Grade! The children and I have enjoyed getting to know each other and our classroom. We have developed a Mission Statement and have been discussing our daily routines and why we need to have classroom and school rules. Our mission statement is as follows:
Our 1st Grade will be respectful, responsible, and resourceful. We will use kind words, we will do great work, be good people, listen to each other and the teacher, we will be quiet in the hall and learn everything to be ready for 2nd grade.
In order for your children to learn and for me to teach we must have some rules to follow.
