Parent Reminders:  Sign homework log daily and check backpacks for school notes and homework.  Provide a quiet place for homework and check for understanding.  Read for 20 minutes daily and have your child summarize  the story.  Practice math facts using flashcards and games on the computer.  Keep communication current with the classroom teacher.  Try to attend as many of the parent supported education team meetings as possible or be available for a conference call.  A schedule was sent home earlier in the year.  Any questions or concerns, feel free to e-mail me at school.
