3Be's

3. Be Safe
Students are given a two-sided calendar each month. On one side is a homework record. the other side is a behavior record. For each day the students are at school, they will receive a stamp if the homework is turned in or the assignment will be written in if missing. Then, using the color chart below, they will record their behavior for each day.
Behavior Chart:
Green - On task
Yellow - Warning
Red - Phone call, email, or note sent home
Black - Off 3 Be's, trip to the principal's office, and a note sent home
Rewards:
Every month your child stays of 3Be's, they will get to participate in an
activity at the end of the month.
Ways to get off 3Be's:
3 missing or late homework assignments
4 yellows
2 reds
1 black
If your child is off 3Be's, they will be send home with a note explaining why they are off. This needs to be signed by an adult and returned the following day.
Homework:
Your child will have reading homework every night. They are responsible for
reading at least 15 minutes every night and 30 minutes over the weekend. A
weekly reading log will be sent home every Monday and is due back the following
Monday.
Math:
A math assignment will be sent home every day a new lesson is taught.
Friday Folders:
A folder will be sent home every Friday with your child. Please review the
papers, sign it, and return it to school on Monday.
