PDF (Portable Document Format) is a file developed by Adobe Systems © for displaying files, most commonly in a web browsers. PDF files are used to make an exact representation of the document or image. To view a PDF you need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader ©

SWF (Small Web Format or simply called Flash) is a file developed by Macromedia © (recently bought out by Adobe Systems ©). SWF files are the most diverse animated graphic, which compresses surprisingly well.
