Information Parents need to know.......
Attendance Policy:
According to the laws of Illinois:
It is the parent/legal guardian's responsibility to see that their child is in regular school attendance, this also includes arriving to school on time.
To Report an Absence:
Parent or guardian is to call the school at 630-759-9300 by 9:35 a.m. to report the absence. You may call the school anytime the night before and leave a voice mail message.
We require the following information:
NO CONTACT IS AN UNEXCUSED ABSENCE!
Excessive absences are considered cause for concern and will be treated as such.
Tardiness:
Any student arriving to the building or classroom after 9:05 a.m. MUST report to the office to receive a tardy pass. We do monitor excessive tardiness, anytime your child is not in class, they miss vital instruction from the teacher. If your child has 5 or more tardies in a quarter you will be notified.
Early Dismissals:
Occasionally, it is necessary for parents to remove a child from school before the dismissal bell. Whenever possible (for doctor or dental appts.) parents are asked to write a note to the teacher and office, notifying them of the early release and the reason. The child will remain in the classroom until the designated person comes into the office and signs the child out.
