MISSION STATEMENT

The staff, parents, and students of  Oak View School believe that all children can learn to the best of their ability.  We will work together to make Oak View School a safe place to learn.  We will respect everyone in our school and community, and value their individual differences.  The staff, parents, and students of Oak View School will work together to encourage students to become life long learners.

Oak View's PBIS Expectations

Be Respectful

• Be kind to all people

• Listen to and follow directions

• Respect the comments, opinions, and ideas of others

• Use manners when speaking to others

• Ask permission to use other people's property

• Voice your opinion politely

Be Responsible

• Come to school on-time, prepared, and ready to work

• READ at lest 20 minutes a day

• Ignore inappropriate behavior

• Always tell the truth

• Complete all assigned work

• Celebrate each other's successes

• Challenge yourself

• Do high quality work

• Ask for help when needed

• Make transitions quickly and quietly

• Keep all areas clean
