VVSD School Board Information

The Valley View School District 365U Board of Education is responsible for the hiring and supervision of the Superintendent of Schools, and setting district policies. Each of the seven board members is elected to a four-year term and serves without compensation. Board members choose to serve their school district as a result of their dedication to education of children in a public setting, and the desire to provide opportunities for all students to learn.

The Board of Education meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, with several exceptions for holidays and the months of June, July, and December. The schedule of meetings is available from the web tab labeled, Board Meetings. The Board of Education meetings are conducted at the Emmie D. Dunn Administration Center, 755 Luther Drive, Romeoville. The meetings begin at 7:30 PM. The meetings are rebroadcast several times each week on Bolingbrook Community Television and Romeoville Public Television (Channel 6).
