Dear Parents & Visitors,
Welcome to the Valley View Early Childhood Center. I am very excited to
be the Principal who will lead and support the staff who will provide
your child with many learning experiences. Your child will learn
important skills through an active learning environment, outdoor
activities and field trips. There will also be opportunities for you,
the parent/ guardian, to become involved in your child’s classroom, the
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and Parent Involvement & Child
Enrichment activities.
Preschool should be one of the most enjoyable times in a child’s life.
Your child will gain self-confidence, independence and friendships. With
parents as our partners, we can accomplish these important goals. The
teachers will use the Creative Curriculum as the foundation of learning
along with their assessment program. You will be informed of your
child’s progress thought parent-teacher conferences and progress
reports. Communication will be open and ongoing. As you can tell, the
staff play an important role in your child’s learning. We want to make
their experience an exciting and memorable one.
