Hello Everyone!

I am Lisa Griffin an Occupational Therapist at the Valley View Early Childhood Center. I graduated from the University of Illinois Medical Center with Honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. I am a licensed and registered OT that has continued my education through numerous continuing education courses over the years including a special certification in Sensory Integration. I have worked as an OT for 27 years and have provided services in the Valley View School District for 24 years. I am excited to be a part of the Early Childhood Center and appreciate having this special place to work with the EC staff, students and parents. I work at school on the assessment team assessing new children referred to our Center as well as providing OT services to the students that are enrolled here at school. Outside of school I have a busy life including being married with three children. We are involved with school and church activities. Personally, I enjoy exercise especially swimming, bike riding and running.
