About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Kristina McGowan. I am one of the physical therapists at the Valley View Early Childhood Center. I have been with the Valley View School District for 6 years, this being my third year at the Early Childhood Center. I am part of the Early Childhood assessment team, and also provide physical therapy services to students who are already enrolled in the program. My formal education started right here in the Valley View School district ("Go Spartan's"). I then graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Illinois in Champaign, and received my Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. I am married, have no children, but am a proud owner of a very spoiled dog. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening, doing puzzles, going to the movies, and exercising. I am very happy to be a member of the Early Childhood team, and am excited for the year ahead !!
