This month's Art Works presentation, "I'm in Great Shape",  focused on using simple shapes and color combinations to build self-portraits.  

Using Paul Klee's abstract artwork, "Head of a Man", as a model, the first graders were given sponges in the shape circles, squares, rectangles, and trianges to create a  self-portrait using a "stamping" technique.   Enjoy!
