In reponse to the devastation left behind by Hurricane Katrina, Wood View organized a school-wide effort for students to donate monies to help the victims of this natural catastrophe.
After investigating many worthy organizations dedicated to helping others in need, Wood View chose The McCormick Tribune Foundation's Hurricane Katrina Relief Campaign in which to contribute all monies donated by our students and families. 100% of the donations received will be used specifically in the areas affected by the hurricane. Further, the foundation will match 50 cents for every dollar our students and families contribute!
Below are pictures of some of the many, many students who stopped by to help others in need. We certainly can be proud of these caring, young citizens!
