ISAT WEEK 2007

Once again, the campaign was launched at Wood View to maximize student success in taking the Illinois State Achievement Test (ISAT).  Administrators and staff devised contests to motivate and reward students in grades 3, 4, & 5 to be in school on test dates  to demonstrate what they know on all testing.

Each class that had perfect attendance (or closest) for all test dates would receive a "Krispy Kreme" donut party.

Each class that had perfect attendance (or closest) on any or all test dates would be entered into a drawing to win a pizza party for each day they are eligible.  One class from each grade level would be drawn to win.

Furthermore, cumulatively, if  95% of all third, fourth, and fifth grade students were present for testing on assigned test dates,  the staff and students could wear crazy hair and pajamas on "Crazy Friday".

The students followed through to ensure they were present to take ISAT and Mr. Stange and some students and staff followed through on  crazy Friday.

Wood View students are the cat pajamas as they go for the green on ISATS!
