In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, our first grade held several discussions regarding Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life and his monumental impact on equality in America today. The children made pictures of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with "dream bubbles" of the many words the children felt represented Martin's dream. Below, please find each first grader's picture of Dr. King and the words they identified as being important not only to remember, but to act on every day!
