The first graders are getting ready for their holiday travels around the world. We are having fun learning about the meaning of "places" words such as maps, world, continent, country, state, city, town, street, room, flat map, globe, etc.
As part of our "worldly" explorations, we donned our space helmets and launched our spaceships into space to view our world, planet Earth. Check-out our astronauts as they ready for launch............

but we finally made it...............and boy, was it worth it!
