As an extension of our studies on life cycles of plants and animals, such as frogs and butterflies, we took the first graders to the Children's Garden at the Morton Arboretum. We had a perfect day: The children had a great time. We saw tiny tadpoles at the "Tadpole Pool", beautiful flowers, and bugs in the ground cover. Here are pictures of our day!
