As part of our discussions on plant life cycles and parts of a plant, the first graders went to Sonny Acre farm to learn about life on a farm. Sonny Acres was settled in 1883 by the Nagel Family and is still owned by descendents of the Nagels. The "harvest fairies" took good care of us: The temperatures were just right and it didn't rain! As you will see from the picture slideshow below, the everyone had a great time!
