Here are some of our first graders making snowflakes:

Working with a partner and using the "fact-based" software, Kidspiration, each first grade team created a "Snowflake Fact" report.  The report rubric was as follows:

This rubric was the minimum expectation  to receive a "Meets".  Those teams who gave 6 facts or more could receive an "Exceeds".

Here are our great first grade teams and their GREAT Snowflake Fact Reports.  We hope you learn something YOU didn't know about snowflakes.
