Our winter party was a huge success.
First, thanks to the wonderful generosity of our families and first graders, our class was able to send each of three first grade family members serving in our military overseas a care package filled to the brim with necessities and goodies as well as the cards our first graders made "thanking solders" for keeping us safe and free. Needless to say, our little Americans demonstrated what great "sharers" they are. Our country is in good hands!
All of the first graders decorated Christmas cookies to eat as their party treat. All of the first graders ornaments and gifts were distributed for them to take home. We also played Word Wall Bingo.
Thank you to ALL of the parents, grandparents, and siblings who joined us. We couldn't be successful without you!
