Steve Quigley - School Board President

Steve Quigley has been a member of the VVSD Board of Education since 2007, and has served as President since 2009. Steve is extremely active in the community, volunteering his time as a youth sports coach and participating in many activities with local non-profit organizations. A proud member of the Bolingbrook Lions and Romeoville Hampton Park SAC, Mr. Quigley is employed as corporate director of legislative affairs. He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University. The Quigley family attends St. Dominic Church.

Victor Zack - School Board Vice President

A 22-year resident of Romeoville, Victor Zack is a broker for ASAP Realty, a White Oak Library trustee and is active in the Hampton Park Social and Athletic Club, the Knights of Columbus and the Romeoville Historical Society.  He is a graduate of Elmhurst College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business management. His expertise is in the area of communications, problem solving, interpersonal relationships, planning and team building.

Debbie Sykora - School Board Secretary

Debbie Sykora has spent most of her adult life serving the children of Valley View School District 365U. A resident of Bolingbrook since 1976, she taught in VVSD for 34 years before retiring following the 2010-11 school year. After launching her VVSD career as a teacher at Bolingbrook High School and R.C. Hill Elementary School, Sykora spent 32 years as a 6th and 7th grade math teacher, first at Humphrey Middle School, and then at Brooks Middle School. She also taught at Governors State University after retiring. A graduate of Illinois State University, Sykora holds a Master’s Degree from National Louis University and has completed an additional 40 hours of work beyond her Master’s Degree. During her teaching career, she was a Math Key Leader, Mentor Coordinator at Brooks, and a new teacher mentor at both Humphrey and Brooks. A book reviewer for two math book companies, she also is an expert on co-teaching, speaking at the National Middle School Conference. Sykora not only coached volleyball and track while with VVSD, but she also coached Panthers softball. She is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of DuPage where she served as a Deacon and an Elder, and is a contributing member of the Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation. Both of Sykora’s adult children attended Bolingbrook High School. She has been married to her husband, Rich, for over 40 years.

James (J.T.) Boudouris


James T. (J.T.) Boudouris brings a wealth of private sector business expertise to the VVSD Board of Education. Boudouris, the owner/operator of his own Farmers Insurance agency in Romeoville, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the University of Iowa. Because VVSD has been a major part of his family’s life since he was born, he not only maintains a deep fondness for the district but also sports a unique perspective about the history of VVSD. Boudouris is also active in the Romeoville community, serving on the village’s Downtown Redevelopment Commission.

Elizabeth (Liz) Campbell

A member of the Valley View Board of Education since 1997, Liz Campbell started working at the age of 10 when her sixth grade teacher paid her $25 to grade papers. A year later she was a teacher’s assistant in a Headstart classroom and by the time she was 16 she worked at Sears, Roebuck and Company while attending high school in Chicago. A resident of Bolingbrook for more than 33 years, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Roosevelt University, and has worked as an accounting supervisor, missionary in Jamaica with husband Ron of 32 years and her children and grandchildren, and in Mexico, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Jerusalem, and Navajo Nations. She is a substitute teacher and Parent/Child Educator for income eligible families with Early Head Start. Liz is extremely active in the community volunteering her time for the Alpha Missionary Baptist Church, at Meadowbrook Manor, La Chateau, Rock Run Memory Care, Autumn Leaves Memory Care, and Sisters on the Street.  Her mottos are “service to all” and “No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”

 Sally Guilbo

Sally Guilbo

Sally (Clemens) Guilbo and her family have been a part of the Valley View School District 365U community since the 1960’s. Guilbo is a proud graduate of Romeoville High School having also attended West View (A. V. Martinez) Middle School and Ridge View (Irene King) Elementary School. The former VVSD teacher aide, teacher, coach, and assistant athletic director spent her 20-year teaching career at Romeoville High School before retiring at the end of the 2013-14 school year. Guilbo served as a behavioral disorder aide, a teacher in the RHS Academy Program for at-risk students, a social studies teacher, and the the coordinator for the athletic study hall program. She coached volleyball, basketball, and softball and was the RHS Assistant Athletic Director for 11 years. Guilbo has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College (University) of St. Francis, A Master of Arts degree from Governor State University and an additional 50+ college credits earned. She holds certifications in Elementary Education K-9, Secondary Education 6-12, and Educational Administration, type 75. Guilbo continues to be involved with VVSD, volunteering her services as a volleyball coach at A. Vito Martinez Middle School. She is deeply involved in the community serving as President of the Romeoville Community Pantry, Vice President of the Romeoville Golden Age Club, and Secretary of the Romeoville Area Historical Society. In addition, Guilbo also was the 2016 recipient of State Representative Emily McAsey’s Spirit Award.

 Diane Parro

Diane Parro

A resident of Bolingbrook for nearly three decades, Diane Parro has been deeply involved in the life of Valley View School 365U as a parent, as a volunteer and as a guest teacher.  A graduate of Northern Illinois University, she serves as board liaison on several district committees, including Academic & Curriculum Committee, Safety Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Social Emotional Learning Committee, and Gifted and Talented Task Force.  She is Coordinator of the Bolingbrook High School F.A.N.S.S. (Friends and Neighbors Supporting Students) program, and is Past President of the Wood View Elementary School PTA and Bolingbrook High School Music Boosters.  Diane is also extremely active in the community, serving in several leadership capacities in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for over 15 years.  She is a member of the Day Care Board at Grace United Methodist Church in Joliet.  Diane’s family (husband Mike and BHS grads Kristina and Brian) was named Bolingbrook’s 2009 Family of the Year.  She also received the Scouting Excellence in Leadership Award from the Rainbow Council in 2014.
