Hello and welcome to my classroom webpage!  This is my seventh year working as a special education teacher and I have taught in Valley View since the start of my career.  I worked for three years at Bolingbrook High School and am now beginning my fourth year as a STEP Program teacher.  I have the pleasure of working alongside Babs Olszanowski, my classroom paraprofessional, this school year. I’m also very excited to be mentoring a student teacher this fall, Paige Santucci, from Lewis University.

I completed my undergraduate degree in special education from Elmhurst College and a master's degree in Reading and English Language Learning from Lewis University.  My favorite thing about being a transition program teacher is watching our students transform throughout their time in the program. With that being said, I am eager to work with ALL of my students and help them grow this year at STEP!
