Ms. Kitty Dupee
I began my career as a speech-language pathologist at Romeoville High School in 2012. In this position, I manage a high volume caseload of culturally and linguistically diverse students, develop effective Individualized Education Plans (IEP), and provide therapeutic services and interventions to adolescents who qualify for services. In addition, I am an active member of many school, district and community committees. At Romeoville High School, I am a career and college mentor. I have been the head coach of the Bolingbrook High School badminton team since 2012.
Prior to beginning my career at Romeoville High School, I graduated from Victor J. Andrew High School, located in Tinley Park, IL where I was actively involved in many sports and clubs. Upon high school graduation, I attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst where I earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders with a minor in Psychology. After obtaining my B.S. degree, I continued my education at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale where I earned a Master's of Science Degree in Communication Disorders & Sciences.
I currently hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed in the state of Illinois.
