• Building Technology Support Staff 

    Building Technology Support Staff are designated staff members in each building who provide initial one-on-one technical support to other building staff and co-workers. They are a direct liaison between their building staff and the Technology Department, and serve as representatives to communicate any technology-related concerns, issues and feedback.
     
    Building Technology Support Staff include the following roles:  Google Goorus, Technology Coaches, and Webmasters. LMC Directors may also provide technical assistance in some cases. Additional support staff in schools include Building Technology Liaisons (BTLs), Student Password Administrators (SPAs) and Infinite Campus Educator Trainers (ICE-Ts).

    The function of a Google Gooru will be to provide site support to certified staff in the area of instructional technology as it pertains to the deployment and professional development of Google Apps for Education (GAFE). The Gooru will assist with the implementation and articulation of PARCC & Common Core State Standards (CCSS) related to digital literacy for students and certified staff members.     Technology Coach
    The function of a Technology Coach will be intended to provide site support to certified staff in the area of instructional technology. Additionally, the coach will act as a liaison between their assigned school and the Manager of Instructional Technology in the area of classroom technology.     Webmaster
    The building Webmaster is responsible for the maintenance of the school’s webpage. They are also the first point of contact for all building staff regarding all website-related issues or trainings. Additionally, the Webmaster will act as a liaison between their assigned school and the Technology Department in the area of website management.     LMC Director
    LMC Directors maintain resources, services and technology equipment to support district curriculum and instruct students on literacy and technology skills.
     
    Building Technology Liaison
    BTLs provide support to their building for student Chromebooks, including deployment, ongoing support and maintenance.
     
    Student Password Administrator
    SPAs provide support to students in their building for password resets and login issues.
     
    Infinite Campus Educator Trainer
    ICE-Ts provide support and train their building educators on using the district's student information system, Infinite Campus.
