Digital Footprint: Student Lessons
Digital Citizenship lessons will be available to all students, to support the district's Limitless Learning 1:1++ Initiative that provides Chromebooks to all middle and high school students. These lessons address key factors regarding student digital citizenship, including Chromebook responsibilities, respecting yourself & others, digital literacy, internet safety and copyright/fair use/plagiarism information.
Digital Citizenship: Online Training for VVSD Staff
Today's students are digital natives, but that doesn't guarantee they know how to use technology in both a responsible and effective manner. In this unit, VVSD staff will build their definition of digital citizenship; become familiar with multiple elements of digital citizenship; and how this impacts your "digital self." Most importantly, staff will increase knowledge and technology skills in order to model good digital citizenship for students.
