Business Services

Business Services includes Finance, Insurance, Payroll and Purchasing Departments, and is committed to ensuring financial accountability and transparency for Valley View School District and it's stakeholders. Our goals are to serve those whose attention is focused on educating children and to respect the taxpayer’s expectation of an efficient business operation and to maintain and improve all district facility buildings and grounds in a manner which positively contributes to the learning experience of each student by providing a safe, clean, sustainable, and healthy environment.

Business Services handles all fiscal duties and financial responsibilities, including:

• Semi-monthly payroll processing of full and part time employees

• Monthly vendor payments, with approval by the Board of Education

• Procurement card payment processing

• Collection of student fees

• Preparing and tracking the District annual budget

• Investment of District funds and cash flow management

• Life, medical, dental and disability benefits of employees

• District risk programs for property and casualty
