Paid Student Transportation for the 2025-2026 School Year
The application period for paid student transportation for the 2026-27 school year will open on Monday July 6, and close on Friday, July 31. Seating is limited on a first-come, first-served basis, and paid transportation students may be removed from routes due to changes in capacity limits. Paid student transportation applications will close for the month of August for the 2026-27 school year and will re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, pending availability.

Upon notification of acceptance for paid student transportation, Visa, MasterCard or Discover card payments for the full year or the first semester can be accepted over the phone at 815-886-6686 between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Rates:

ONE STUDENT:

• $575 Full Year ($287.50 per semester. 2nd semester payment due no later than December 11, 2026). 
• $287.50 One Semester
• $287.50 ONE WAY (Full Year)
• $143.75 ONE WAY (Semester)

TWO OR MORE STUDENTS:

• $1150 Full Year ($575 per semester. 2nd semester payment due no later than December 11, 2026).
• $575.00 One Semester
• $575.00 ONE WAY (Full Year)
• $287.50 ONE WAY (Semester)

Pro-rated Paid Transportation will not be available.

Activity buses are available for students who are participating in an after-hours school sponsored program. The activity buses are available at the middle and high schools.

Activity Bus Routes

• Middle school activity buses are available Monday through Thursday only. The activity bus will be available at 4:30pm. There is no middle school activity bus on Friday.
• High school activity buses are available Monday through Friday. Activity buses at Bolingbrook and Romeoville high schools will be available at 4:30pm and 5:30pm.

Activity buses do not drop students at their normal route stop, but make a few stops in a larger area. Please review this information with your student if they are unsure which stop is the best for them to utilize. Please feel free to contact the Transportation Department at 815-886-6686 between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm during the school year if you have any questions or comments. 

Parents or guardians may request an alternative pick-up and/or drop-off locations for their children. Read the conditions and waiver listed below, then complete this form and submit to the Transportation Department.

Condition of Participation

• The residence of the child care provider must be within walking distance, with no intervening IDOT safety hazard areas, of the bus route serving the child's school.
• No deviation shall be required in the established bus routing.
• Participation shall be contingent upon availability of space on the bus route.
• Participation in this program is contingent upon five-days-per-week participation for a minimum period of one semester.
• Participation in the program will terminate in the event that any false or misleading information is provided to the Transportation Department.

• A new request must be submitted at the end of each school year for the next school year. The form must be completed annually along with a copy of driver’s license 
  or State ID of both the parent and child care provider.

Waiver & Release Of All Claims
The undersigned hereby request(s) that the School District allow the student to participate in the Alternate drop-off/pick up program (the “Program”). Under the Program, the student will be transported daily to and from the alternate drop-off/pick up location, rather than the Student's residence, at the beginning and end of each school day.  The undersigned represent(s) and warrant(s) that the student will be met and custody of the student will be assumed by a responsible adult at the alternative drop-off\pick-up location. The undersigned(s) hereby agree(s) to waive and relinquish all claims the undersigned (s) may have as a result of participating in the program against the School District, its officers, agents, servants, and employees. The undersigned (s) hereby fully release and discharge the School District, its officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims for injuries, including death, damage, or loss which the undersigned(s) may have or which may accrue on account of participation in the program.  The undersigned(s) hereby fully release and discharge the School District, its officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims for injuries, including death, damage, or loss which the undersigned(s) or the student may have or which may accrue on account of participation in the program.
