Romeoville High School
RHS Summer School registration opens on March 19 at 9:00am. Classes fill up fast so be sure to register when it opens! For questions about your students courses and credits toward graduation, please reach out to their school counselor.
Summer Connections
Summer Connections will take place at four elementary school sites and two middle school sites from May 31st through June 28th for identified Kindergarten - 7th grade students across the district. Programming will take place Monday-Friday and student attendance hours will be from 9:15-1:15. The Summer Connections Program offers enrichment activities, academic help, mentoring, character building, and family programming. This programming aims to provide students with academic resources, social-emotional skills, and enrichment opportunities (i.e., fine arts, sports/recreation). Students will receive a registration form via Infinite Campus by March 6th if being invited to the program. School sites will be:
- Tibbott Elementary
- BJ Ward Elementary
- Wood View Elementary
- Hermansen Elementary
- Humphrey Middle School
- A.V. Martinez Middle School
Extended School Year (ESY)
Extended School Year (ESY) will be available for eligible students that receive special education services. Students will attend May 31 – June 28, 2024, Monday – Friday. Extended School Year (ESY) provides programming focused on skill deficits outlined in a student’s Individual Education Program (IEP). To be eligible, students must exhibit considerable regression of learned skills and inability to recoup the loss in a reasonable period of time as determined by their Individual Education Program (IEP). Students will receive a registration form via Infinite Campus by March 12th if eligible for the program. School sites and hours will be:
- Dr. James Mitchem Early Childhood Center - 8:45 am – 12:15 pm
- Hermansen Elementary School - 8:45 am – 12:15 pm
- Bolingbrook High School - 8:00 am – 11:30 am
