The Spangler Transportation Center is located at 39 East Forestwood Drive in Romeoville and is open on school days from 6:00am until 5:00pm and administers transportation services for approximately 11,000 students. The daily operation provides services for regular and special education students, parochial, out of district programs, the Phoenix, Premier and Wilco Educational Programs as well as field trips and after school activities.

The school district currently has 172 vehicles that transport to twenty-one in district and thirty-four out of district schools covering over 900 daily routes.

Starting with the 2008/09 school year, Valley View Public Schools has taken student safety to the next level. We are proud to be the first school district in Illinois to provide lap/shoulder seat belts in all new school buses. District plans are to have all buses equipped by 2011.
