Mr. Clark Anderson

Mr. Anderson, a native of Minooka, is in his 26th year of teaching and his 23rd year at Romeoville High School.  From 1991 to 1994, he taught band and choir and also was the lead sponsor for the winter drumline and winter guard programs at Rock Falls High School.  In 1991, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.  In 2004, he received his Masters Degree in Music Education from Vandercook College of Music in Chicago, Illinois.  He also has earned more than 40 hours of coursework beyond the Masters level from Illinois State University and Vandercook College of Music.  Mr. Anderson is the primary conductor of the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Concert Bands 1 & 2, and the RHS Jazz Program.  He is also the lead director of the RHS Marching Spartans, RHS Pep Band, Spring Musical Pit Orchestra and various chamber ensembles. Mr. Anderson is also a member of Nafme, ILMEA and the Fox Valley Music Educators Association.  Mr. Anderson is also an avid runner, having run 14 marathons (2 trips to Boston) and over 50 half marathons.
