English 9 and College Prep Reading Teacher

My name is Amy Brauneis and I have been teaching at BHS since 2009. Before that I spent one year at Humphrey teaching Science! I absolutely love English 9 and one of my favorite things to teach is Romeo and Juliet. I am an avid reader and can give independent reading book suggestions anytime! 

In the spring and fall I can frequently be found in the pressbox annoucing and running the scoreboard for boys and girls soccer. In my free time I like to  spend time at the dog park with my shar-pei! I also try and travel as much as possible. I have recently been to Tokyo, Paris and Amsterdam.
