I am Aileen Broman and I have been teaching at Bolingbrook High School since 2004. Prior to teaching at the high school level I taught 7th & 8th grade Science, Social Studies, & Math.
As part of the Science Department I have taught Biology, Environmental Science, Physical Science, & Zoology. As you see the Life Sciences are where my passion lies. Each day is always different, yet my favorite part of teaching is the inquiry. Students have so many questions and helping them explore to find the answers is one aspect that helps each of them grow as students and as young adults. Their natural curiosity has them continually searching for answers and I support them as they interpret data and solve real world problems.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband & our 3 dogs (Bella, Bryce, & Radar), traveling, being outside investigating local and sometimes not so local State and National Parks, and spending time with family and friends.
