My name is Alice Cameron and I am currently one of the SRT Leaders here at BHS.  I help facilitate IEP meetings, provide intervention and supports for our students and teachers as well as provide resources to our families when needed.  I work directly with our special education department and teachers to ensure that all of our students are successful within the academic setting and are preparing for their post-secondary educational journey.  My personal goal is to ensure that all students understand that they can and will reach their goals with perseverance and hard work.

So a little about myself.  I am married to my best friend and we have 6 amazing kids!  We have 4 daughters and 2 Sons.  Our oldest daughter currently works in the medical field, 3 of our Daughters are in College one is a nursing major who will graduate this spring, one is attending the University of Kentucky and is currently working on her degree in public health and finally the last daughter is a attending JJC and is majoring in Biology.  One of our Sons is currently a Fire Fighter for the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Department  and the other is currently attending JJC and will start the Fire Academy next year.  I love being an educator and continually developing my skills to help our students prepare for post-secondary education.  I am a graduate of Lewis University and have been a part of the Valley View School District since 2004.  I am proud to be a Raider and love working at Bolingbrook High School.  I am continually seeking ways to increase my educational knowledge and Leadership skills to continue to support  my students and families here at BHS.  I am very proud of our staff and students and how hard they work each day to accomplish their goals.
