Hello! I teach a range of learners and love engaging with all students. I enjoy experiencing students grow as learners and also as people.

I have been a teacher at BHS since 2013 and enjoy sharing my school spirit (Go Raiders!). One of the reasons I enjoy teaching high school is because of all of the activities and opportunities available to students in high school and seeing students experience these opportunities brings me joy.

Teaching is a second career for me - I first worked in the insurance industry for 8 years before pursuing my teaching degree. I have a Bachelors of Finance from the University of Illinois, a Bachelors of English Literature from Northeastern Illinois University, and a Masters of Secondary Education from Roosevelt University. 

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, listening to music, and gardening.
