My name is Marcia Garza and I am one of the music teachers in the district. I teach currently at R.C.Hill and at Beverly Skoff Elementary Schools. I have been teaching music to elementary students for twelve years. I earned my bachelors degree in music education with an instrumental focus. My primary instrument of study is the French Horn and my secondary instrument of study is the trumpet. I do however have knowledge of many instruments and enjoy all types of music. I like to sing as well and enjoyed my time in college as a member of the North Central Womans' Chorale. At the moment I am working on completing a master degree of music education at VanderCook College of Music. I enjoy my job here at Valley View and look forward everyday to working with the students in the district.
