Mr. Steven Gonzalez

In the Fall of 2000, I began teaching physical education at B.J. Ward Middle School in Bolingbrook, Illnois for two years.  I came to Romeoville High School in 2002 teaching physical education and driver's education.  In Valley View Schoold District, I have coached numerous sports including football, baseball, and basketball.  I was the Head Football coach from 2004-2006.  Before coming to Valley View School District 365-U, I taught physical education at West Aurora High School for two years and coached football, basketball, and tennis.  Currently, at Romeoville High School,  I am the head Sponsor of the SADD Club (Spartans Against Destructive Decisions).  I have been doing this club for the last twelve years.

Prior to teaching, I graduated from Romeoviile High School in 1993.  It is great coming back to the school where you came from and giving back to the kids where you actually went to school and grew up.  After high school, I attended College Of Dupage and played football where we were 34-0 my two years and finished the season as the number one team in the nation.  After receiving my associate of arts degree in the Fall of 1996, I obtained my bachelor of arts degree in secondary education from Aurora University in 1998.  I went back to school and obtained my master of arts degree in educational administration in 2005.
