My teaching career began in Mansfiled, Texas as a dance and physical education instructor at the high school level. Through the years, I began to develop a fascination working with students in their math curriculum outside of the classroom which prompted my return to college to complete my certifications in mathematics. By the time I transfer to the Allen Independent School district in Texas as well, I was teaching algebra full time. I spent a total of 13 1/2 teaching between the two districts in Texas prior to our move to Illinois.

I began teaching at Romeoville High School in January of 2002 and have been remained at RHS to this date. I have been teaching the Algebra 1 curriculum for over 20 years.
