My Name is Matthew Jones and I have been an educator for over 28 years. I have been teaching at Bolingbrook High School for 12 years. I currently teach Advance Placement European History and American History in the fall. At BHS, I have taught Honors American Government, Standard American Government, US History and Modern World History. 

I received my BS in Social Science from Illinois State University in 1988 and I am certified to teach History, Government, Sociology and Economics. I received my Master's Degree from Governors State University in 2004. 

I have been able to travel the last several years and hope to continue for some time to come. I have been to Norway and Italy. This summer I traveled to London Uk, Paris France, Florence and Rome Italy. It has been thrilling to visit the places that I've talked aboutplaces in some of my classes.
