Hi!  I am proud to be a member of the BHS English department since 2011.  I currently teach English 9 Honors and World Literature.   Prior to joining BHS, I taught in a few schools in the city of Chicago and suburbs, including Proviso East High School and Marist High School.

I earned Bachelor's degree in English at UIC, with a minor in Spanish.  I later went on to earn a Master of Education degree from DePaul University.  

I enjoy reading (of course), gardening, and traveling with my family.  When traveling, I do like to explore and go scuba diving.
