I have been teaching art at Jamie McGee and Irene King since 2002-2003.  I absolutely love teaching art.  Seeing the spark when the children see themselves grow in their artistic abilities absolutely warms my heart.  

Personally, I graduated from Monmouth College in 2001, there I played division III soccer.  I then got my masters from St. Francis in 2005.  I taught 1 year in the Peoria area before coming to Valley View.  I have 2 boys... Evan is 4 and Blake will be 2 this July.  My husband, Mr. Kornecky is also a teacher in the district.  As a family we love to do anything and everything outside.  We especially love baseball, although the team we root for is divided in our family... GO SOX!!  Myself, I love creating any type of art, especially sculpture and paper-crafting.
