Hi, I'm Ms. McInerney. I grew up in Chicago and curently live in Woodridge. This is my 11th year of teaching at Humphrey Middle School. Before Humphrey I taught at a suburban High School. 

I have an engineering degree from University of Illinois at Chicago and a teaching degree from St. Francis University. My hope is that my students will develop a lifelong interest in Science and Technology as there are many exciting careers opportunities in these fields.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy the outdoors, skiing, and biking. I have a 23 year-old daughter. I don't currently have any pets but would love to adopt a small dog. I'm looking for a hypoallergenic breed due to my allergies.  

I am really enjoying all of my wonderful students this year and look forward to a very successful second semester!
