Hello!  My name is Nikki Mead.  I completed my student teaching at John R. Tibbott Elementary School in 1999, and was hired on as a fourth grade teacher in 2000.  Throughout my years, I have taught third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade, but the majority of my time has been spent in fourth grade. 

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University in the spring on 1999.  Over the years, I have continued my education receiving both my Master’s Degree in Administration and my English Second Language Certificate from St. Francis University.

When I am not as school, I can be found reading a good book or going on long walks with my pups Riley and Jax.  During the summers, I love to spend my time outdoors camping and boating.
